INSTITUTIONAL PROFILE

UBIX Institute of Technology, Inc. was first registered as Facilities Management  Academy (FMA) on February 17, 2000.

FMA offers the 6-week Basic Course in Cleaning Services (BCCS or Housekeeping) with the approval of the Technical  Educational  Skills Development Authority (TESDA), intended to serve the needs of Facilities Managers, Inc., the Philippine Master Franchisee of Service   Master, USA.

FMA provided training for caregivers, nursing aides, copier machine operators, and copier technicians with the approval of the Technical Educational  Skills Development Authority (TESDA), in addition to BCCS(Housekeeping).

In 2008, FMA was legally changed to Facilities Management College (FMC) and applied the recognition for the Baccalaureate Courses.

In 2009, FMC opened its Baccalaureate Courses namely; BSBA major in Operations Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM), and Tourism/Travel Management with the approval of the Commission on Higher  Education (CHED).

In 2013 BSBA, BSHRM, and BSTM were given full program recognition by Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

In 2016, Granted Government Permit to Operate the Senior High School Program by the Department of Education (DepEd).

In 2017, FMC was legally changed to UBIX Institute of Technology to show its relationship with its parent company U-BIX Corporation.

FMC strives to provide students with high quality education by providing them with qualified professors / instructors and sufficient facilities. In turn, students are expected to live up to the high academic standards through serious study and active participation in school activities.

Character development is very much a part of FMC education and every student is expected to carry himself/herself with honor, dignity, and honesty.

FRUGALITY

Students are expected to cooperate with management in minimizing wastage. Re-use/recycle useable materials, conserve energy, and observe proper waste disposal.

DEVELOPMENT

In the present job market, it is observed that jobs and promotions are not just based on major specialization but on trainability and willingness to learn. Thus, FMC helps our students develop not through rote memorization but by helping them develop skills in situational analysis, problem solving and communication skills.
